Our core business is the sale and distribution of rabbit meat, together with a small assortment of chicken, turkey and duck meat. We supply butchers, retailers, specialist food outlets and high class restaurants. As the world demands modern and healthy nutrition, rabbit meat will play an increasingly important role in satisfying the need for lean, lower fat meat.
Consistent quality and full traceability are critical for our customers. Sustainable production, which gives due care to animals, humans and environment, is becoming increasingly important.
In this regard Olivia Kft. has a firm eye on the future. For example we have pioneered husbandry systems which comply with Swiss regulations on animal protection and welfare.
As part of our ongoing business activity we avoid discarding slaughterhouse waste and, through innovative measures, we are already close to achieving complete recycling. For example, we produce ground carcasses for the pet food industry, which provide valuable nutrition for dogs.
